Knotty Cabinet
English Elm, Birdseye Maple, Western Maple, Mountain Mahogany This piece is a response to the brief 'simple, solid and sweet'. The coopered, solid elm doors were the starting point for this cabinet. In true Krenovian style the other details - the shape of the carcass, the carved top rails and sweeping edges were not preplanned and all emerged during the making. |
