Pavilion for the Bergen International Wood Festival
Pine I designed this structure as a contemplative space for passers by to sit and take refuge. The curved bench is narrow, reminiscent of a boat form and forces people to look each other in the eyes and interact. During the festival international teams worked for five days in Bergen's Bryggen historic waterfront area to create imaginative and interactive structures.
